Marilyn Henderson

Marilyn Sue Henderson, 64, of Pierce City, passed away at 1:25 p.m. Friday, October 2, 2009. She was born April 27, 1945 in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Fred Carl and Helen Elizabeth (Thomas) Woods.

Marilyn was a housekeeper at Cox Monett Hospital and was a member of Chapel of Grace.

Marilyn is survived by one son: Todd Henderson, of Stark City, Mo.; one brother: Johny Woods, of Aurora, Mo.; one sister: Tressa Woods, of Pierce City, Mo.; one half-sister: Lucille Palmer, of Sacramento, Calif.; and two grandsons.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and one daughter, Elizabeth Sue Henderson.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett with Rev. Jimmy Copley officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery near Monett. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 6, 2009 from 6 till 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
