William I. Hartline, Jr., 62, of Monett, Mo., passed away Thursday, September 3, 2009, at his home in Monett.

Mr. Hartline was born February 20, 1947, in Salinas, Calif., the son of William I. and Gertie Cartwright Hartline. He worked for 3M Corporation and was a Navy veteran.

Survivors include two sons, Scott W. Hartline, of Concord, Calif., and William I. Hartline III, of Monett; two brothers, Jack Hartline, of Nevada, Mo., and Jerry Hartline, of Nevada, Mo.; two sisters, Wilda Hartline, of Nevada, Mo., and Betty Jackson, of San Jose, Calif.

The body has been cremated under the direction of Buchanan Funeral Home of Monett. No services are planned.
