George Hudson

Mr. George Edward Hudson, 68, of Monett, Missouri, passed away at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 19, 2009, at his home in Monett. He was born July 26, 1941. He was united in marriage to Maxine Miller on February 12, 1994 in Monett, and she survives.

He is survived by four sons: George Hudson Jr., of Monett, Curtis Hudson, of Alma, Ark., Mike Gordon, of San Antonio, Texas, and Kevin Wheeler, of Chippewa Falls, Wis.; two daughters: Tami Gardner, of Alma, Ark., and Anna Kirkland, of Branson, Mo.; two brothers: John Hudson and Charles Hudson, both of Pierce City; 20 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Saturday, August 22, 2009 at 10 a.m. at the Bennett-Wormington Chapel with Rev. Jim Copley officiating. Cremation will follow services.

Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday before the funeral.
