Dick Landreth

Mr. Dick Landreth, 64, of Purdy, passed away Sunday, August 16, 2009, at St. John's Regional Health Center in Springfield, Mo. He was born July 21, 1945, the son of the late Joe and Douglas Adams Landreth. He was married to Virginia Brafford on January 29, 1965, in Monett, and she survives.

Dick was employed at Barton's Lumber as a salesman. He was a member of the Arnhart Baptist Church near Purdy.

Along with his wife, other survivors include: two sons, Scott Landreth, of Cassville, Mo., and Brian Landreth, of Shell Knob, Mo.; one sister, Barbara Hughes, of Neosho, Mo.; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 19, 2009, at the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett. Burial will be at the Arnhart Cemetery near Purdy, Missouri. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 18, 2009, from 6 till 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
