Monett High School will hold a Fall Sports Pride Night at the Burl Fowler Stadium on Saturday, Aug. 15.
"It will be an opportunity for the community to enjoy a football scrimmage and meet the athletes, cheerleaders and marching band representing Monett High School in the upcoming school year," said Athletic Director Alan Spencer.
The Monett Athletic Boosters will have a "Tailgate Party" as a kick-off to the 2009 Athletic Boosters Membership Drive. "With a completed membership, you will receive a hotdog or hamburger, chips and a drink," said Spencer.
The concession stand will also be open and Boosters will sell MHS apparel and spirit items.
Gates will open at 5:45 pm. The "best hot dogs in the Big 8 Conference" will be available, Spencer added. Activities will begin at 7 pm.

National Anthem/Monett Fight Song, 7 p.m.
Introduction of football team, 7:05 p.m.
Freshmen and junior varsity football scrimmage begins, 7:15 p.m.
Introduction of Monett Cubs Band, 7:15 p.m.
Introduction of cheerleaders, 7:30 p.m.
Introduction of cross country team, 7:40 p.m.
Junior varsity and varsity football scrimmage begins, 7:40 p.m.
Introduction of volleyball team, 7:50 p.m.
Introduction of soccer team, 8 p.m.
Introduction of softball team, 8:10 p.m.
Introduction of girls tennis team, 8:20 p.m.
