Louise Sanders

Mrs. Louise Smith Sanders, 86, of Grove, Ok., formerly of Monett, passed away at Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at Grove Hospital, Grove, Ok. She was born September 7, 1922 in London, England, daughter of the late William and Alice (Kodiera) Smith. She was united in marriage to Howard Sanders on April 1, 1941, in Boston, Mass. and he preceded her in death February 1995.

Louise was a homemaker. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church Monett, Mo.

She is survived by one son: Steve Sanders of Wyandotte, Ok.; one brother: John T. Smith of Boston, Mass.; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, July 27, 2009 at National Cemetery, Springfield, with Charlene Dart officiating. Visitation will be from 6:30 p.m. till 8 p.m., Sunday, July 26, 2009 at Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home Monett, Mo.
