Daryl A. Brown, 50, Miller, died at his home Sunday, July 5, 2009, following a sudden illness.

Mr. Brown was born March 26, 1959 at Mt. Vernon, the son of Burl and Challis Brown. He was a self-employed contractor. He was a long-time member of the Miller Lions Club and had recently joined Gray's Point Christian Church. He was a life-long resident of Miller and a 1979 graduate of Miller High School.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by three children, Chandra Maggard of Sarcoxie; Staci Allen of Phoenix, Arizona; and James Brown of Virginia Beach, Virginia; three grandchildren, Anikin Maggard, Alexandra Allen and Alistar Brown; two brothers, David Brown of Miller and Denny Brown of Killeen, Texas; two sisters, Debbie Afara of Pfluegerville, Texas and Denna Limpus of Everton; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services, with Pastor Bob Wright officiating, will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, July 9, at Morris-Leiman-Mosher Funeral Home of Miller.

Visitation will be from 6-8:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 8, at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Sycamore Cemetery, east of Miller, under the direction of Morris-Leiman-Mosher Funeral Home.
