Fireworks will light up the Monett sky Monett's annual fireworks display will again be held on July 4 in South Park. A scheduled time has not been set for the fireworks show other than when it becomes dark. For several years the show, run by A.M. Pyrotechnics of Buffalo, has been at 9:30 p.m. Parking will be available throughout the park. The best viewing for ground displays, such as the scene above from last year's finale, will be from the center field of the park. Live music will begin at 5 p.m. and the talent show at 7 p.m. The patriotic address will be given by Emory Melton at 8:30 p.m. The Monett Chamber of Commerce is organizing the community celebration.
