Shelly Garner

Mrs. Shelly Kay Garner, 31, of Monett, Missouri passed away at 11 p.m., Sunday, June 14, 2009, at her home in Monett, Missouri. She was born July 9, 1977 in Monett, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Destin Garner June 2001 in Wheaton, Missouri he preceded her in death in September of 2005.

Shelly was a waitress at the Sunrise Restaurant in Monett. She attended Freedom Christian Center in Aurora.

She is survived by her mother, Debbie (Wormington) Banks of Pierce City, Missouri; her father, Onis Banks and wife, Mary, of Verona, Missouri; one son: Devin Banks, of Pierce City, Missouri; one daughter: Jaiden Garner, of the home; maternal grandmother, Billie Wormington, of Monett, Missouri; one sister; Sarah Banks, also of Monett, Missouri.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m., Thursday, June 18, 2009 at New Site Cemetery with Rev. Aaron Weibel officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 17, 2009 from 6 p.m. till 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers a Memorial Fund has been set up for the Children in care of the funeral home.
