The Monett Water Thrashers swim team finished fourth last weekend in the Branson meet, just one point shy of tying for third place.
Eleven swimmers from Monett placed in the top three.
Finishing first for Monett were: Bridget Barta in the girls 13-14 200-yard intermediate; Jack Barta in the boys 10-and-under 50-yard butterfly; Kirstin Racicot in the girls 15-18 50-yard breaststroke; and Sarah Schmidt in the girls 15-18 50-yard backstroke.
Coming in second were: Jack Barta in the boys 10-and-under 50-yard freestyle; and Schmidt in the girls 15-18 50-yard butterfly.
Placing third were: Daniel Addleman in the boys 10-and-under 100-yard intermediate; Katelyn Brisco in the girls 15-18 200-yard intermediate; Kendra Brisco in the girls 15-18 50-yard backstroke; Ashton Prine in the girls 6-and-under 25-yard backstroke; Schmidt in the girls 15-18 50-yard freestyle; Ginna Verhoff in the girls 11-12 50-yard backstroke; Luke Verhoff in the boys 13-14 100-yard freestyle and 50-yard breaststroke; and Stetson Watson in the boys 15-18 50-yard butterfly.
The Water Thrashers will compete in the Nevada meet tomorrow and Sunday.
