Mrs. Dannell Winder Harris, 64, of Monett, Missouri, passed away at 10:24 p.m. Monday, June 1, 2009, at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield. She was born August 3, 1944, in Springdale, Utah, to the late Daniel and Myrtle (Crawford) winder. She was united in marriage to Rodger Harris on August 30, 1968 in St. George, Utah, and he survives.
Dannell worked in the medical field for several years before she became disabled. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Monett.
Along with her husband, she is survived by six sons: Rodger Anthony Harris of Golden, Missouri, Daniel Fielding Harris, James Eban Harris, Kevin Ray Harris, Russell Hyrum Harris, and Joseph Ryan Harris, all of Monett, Missouri; one daughter: Wendy Kay Koening, of Monett, Missouri; two brothers: Tom Winder, of Blanding, Utah, and Paul Winder, of Las Vegas, Nevada; two sisters: Grace Waklin, of Arizona, and Deloris Spendlove, of Hurricane, Utah; and 12 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 5, 2009 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints, Monett, Missouri. Burial will be at Kings Prairie Cemetery near Monett, Mo. Visitation will be Thursday, June 4, 2009 from 6 till 8 p.m. at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Missionary Fund or to the Perpetual Education Fund in care of the funeral home.
