William Tucker

Funeral Mass for William (Bill) Tucker, 89, of Wentworth, who passed away May 20, 2009, was held at 10 a.m. May 23 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Pierce City with Father Peter Morciniec officiating.

Lector was Judge J. Edward Sweeney, and Mass servers were Mattie Brottlund and Jonna Brottlund. Music was provided by mary Ryder, organist, and Tari Reeves and Dorothy Witt, who sang "On Eagles' Wings," "Gentle Woman," "Peace is Flowing" and "How Great Thou Art."

Casketbearers were Terry Campbell, Joe Fenske, Dan Kristek, Ed Schiska,, Leo Schmidt and Walter Woods.

Burial was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, north of Monett, under the direction of Wessell Funeral Home of Pierce City.
