Louise Gamel

Louise Barbara Gamel, 86, passed away Sunday, May 10, at Christian Health Care of Republic. She was born Jan. 19, 1923, in St. Louis, Mo. In 1942 she married "Al" William A. Gamel.

She was preceded in death by her husband and one son, Jerry. She is survived by two sons, Bill and wife, Julie, of Republic, Mo., David and wife, Melissa, of Merriam, Kan.; one daughter, Nancy Haggard and husband, Mike, of Ozark, Mo.; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

As a long time member of the congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses at Monett, Mo., she was known for her ministry of declaring the good news of God's Kingdom.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 17, at 4 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1150 N. Eisenhower, Monett, Mo. Visitation will follow at Pierce City Senior Citizen Center.
