Clarence O. "Buster" Cooley III, 57, of Magnolia passed away Sunday, May 3, 2009, at the John R. Williamson Hospice House.
Born November 26, 1951 in Niles, Mich., to Clarence Otis Cooley Jr. and Janet Myer Cooley. He worked as Supply Chain Manager for Amfuel in Magnolia loved to golf, astronomy, gardening, flying, fishing, canoeing, hiking, music and was an animal lover. "Buster" was a former member of Marrable Hill Chapel.
Preceding him in death were his mother; a brother, Robert Cooley; great aunt, Mabel Cooley Pittman and grandfather, Clarence Cooley, Sr.
Survivors include his father; wife of 33 years, Denise Cooksey Cooley, of Magnolia; a son, Michael Scott Cooley and wife, Amanda, of El Dorado; daughter, Lauren Cooley Davidson and husband, Matthew, of Magnolia; two grandchildren, Rebekah Cooley and due any day, Rachael Cooley; nieces, Brandy, Jennifer, and Kathryn and a nephew, Cody.
Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, May 7, 2009 at Marrable Hill Chapel with Rev. Ben Wasson & Rev. Aaron Leggett officiating. Burial will follow at Cane Creek Cemetery in Strong under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
