| Reggie Cyrus Carpenter, 53, of Monett, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2009, at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, Mo. |
Mr. Carpenter was born April 30, 1955, in Monett, the son of Cyrus Fred and Gloria Faye Carpenter. Cyrus preceded him in death July 4, 2006. He was an auto body technician with Hornor's Frame and Collision and a member of New River Family Fellowship in Wentworth, Mo.
He married Debbie McDonald on June 5, 1976, in Monett, and she survives.
Additional survivors include: his mother, Gloria Finn and husband, Willis, of Stark City, Mo.; three daughters, Amber Carpenter, of Springfield, Mo., Tifanni Carpenter, of Tulsa, Okla., and Kaitlyn Carpenter, of Monett; three sisters, Raena Carpenter, of Monett, Lisa Crawford, of Monett, and Julie Brottlund, of Monett; and many nephews.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Buchanan Funeral Chapel with Pastor Charles Brown and Rev. Ken Dodson officiating. Interment will be in Calton Cemetery southeast of Monett.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Buchanan Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to New River Family Fellowship Building Fund.
Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Buchanan Funeral Home in Monett.
