Louise Heidlage

Edna Louise Heidlage, 64, of Ponca City, Okla., died March 31, 2009, at Ponca City Medical Center.

Mrs. Heidlage was born May 29, 1944, in Ponca City, the daughter of Kenneth C. and Edna G. Rutherford Sherron. She was a 1962 graduate of Ponca City High School and a 1968 graduate of Northeastern Oklahoma A&M. She worked for the Social Security Administration in Ponca City for 27 years. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.

She married Edwin A. Heidlage on March 30, 1963, in Ponca City, and he survives.

Additional survivors include: two daughters, Sherron Heidlage and Jennifer Hicks, both of Ponca City; one son, Don Heidlage, of Ponca City; three brothers, Kenneth Sherron and Lonnie Sherron, both of Ponca City, and Ronald Heidlage, of Tahlequah, Okla.; six grandchildren, one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Jimmie Sherron.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow, April 3, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Ponca City with Father John Michalicka officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Trout Funeral Home and Crematory in Ponca City.

Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Catholic School in Ponca City.
