Aurora Police probe suspicious death

The Aurora Police Department is investigating the death of a 22-year-old woman as suspicious.

Christina Lawson, 22, was rushed to St. John's Hospital-Aurora after emergency responders were called to her home at 121 W. Jasper. Lawson was pronounced dead at the hospital

According to Detective Lieutenant Jay Jastal, the Aurora Police, Rescue and Assistance, as well as St. John's ambulance, responded to a call at 8:46 a.m. on Monday, MarŚch 16. The caller stated that a 22-year old female "was turning blue, not breathing and unresponsive." Jastal said Lawson lived at the home where she was found with her husband. Lawson was not alone at the house when emergency responders arrived.

"We're investigating it as a suspicious death," said Jastal. "We're waiting on the results of the autopsy."

The investigation by the Aurora Police Department is ongoing. The cause of Lawson's death is yet undetermined.
