Mr. Lautaret was born Oct. 4, 1942, in Monett, the son of Clyde and Rosalee Frandsen Lautaret. He was a 1960 graduate of Elwood High School in Elwood, Kan., and an Army veteran. He worked at Farmarco Elevator in St. Joseph for 20 years and Silver Dollar City for 23 years.
His wife, Elizabeth Lautaret, survives.
Additional survivors include: one brother, Ron Lautaret, of Forsyth; one sister, Bev Brewer, of Forsyth; eight children and nine grandchildren.
Memorial services were held March 14 at the First Christian Church in Kimberling City with Jerry Jenkins officiating.
The body has been donated to science.
