Tuesday, March 17, 2009

With four returning Big 8 All Conference players, the spring baseball season for the Monett Cubs "looks promising," according to Michael Calhoun, head coach.

The returning All Conference players include:

Jesse Bremer, a sophomore outfielder and pitcher, is the other returning letterman.

"We have a very good group of leaders," Calhoun commented. "They are a group of young men who work hard and continue to push each other to get better."

The coach listed nine players as top prospects.
