Dorothy Exposito

Dorothy B. Exposito, 82, of Hutchinson, Kan., died March 10, 2009, at Promise Regional Medical Center in Hutchinson.

Mrs. Exposito was born Sept. 12, 1926, in Monett, the daughter of Roy C. and Vesta Mae Kelley Allen. She was a 1944 graduate of Monett High School.

She married Benjamin "Ben" Exposito on May 19, 1946, in Albany, and he preceded her in death on Feb. 6, 2000.

Survivors include two sons, Parker Exposito, of Hutchinson, Kan., and Lynn Exposito, of Partridge, Kan.; one daughter, Peggy Chappel, of Hutchinson, Kan.; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Howard McCormick and Roy Allen Jr., and one sister, Billy Jo Dinan.

Services will be 2 p.m. tomorrow, March 13 at Elliott Mortuary Chapel in Hutchinson, Kan., with Larry Wedel, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Fairlawn Burial Park.

Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. today, March 12 at the funeral home.
