Nellie Erwin

Mrs. Erwin was born Jan. 9, 1915, in Barry County, the daughter of George and Sarah Baughman Hotten. She was a custodian at Exeter Schools and Barry County Farmer's Coop. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Exeter.

She married Noah Erwin on Oct. 29, 1947, and he preceded her in death.

Survivors include: one son, Steve Erwin, of Cassville; one daughter, Marilyn Erwin, of Exeter; three sisters, Esther Perkins and Hazel Holcomb, both of Exeter, and Mary Black, of Ozark; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, Bruce; four brothers, Deb, Burl, Paul and Curt; and four sisters, Velma, Marie, Bethella and Grace.

Graveside services were 2 p.m. yesterday, March 8 at Maplewood Cemetery in Exeter with Rev. Jerry Yarnall officiating under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home of Cassville.
