A Monett woman was arrested for drunk driving and felony assault following a two-vehicle crash Saturday night on Highway 37 one mile north of Cassville.
Christan Larson, 22, was taken into custody after her vehicle crossed the centerline and hit another vehicle head-on. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Larson was arrested for felony assault in the second degree, misdemeanor driving while intoxicated, careless and imprudent driving and no insurance.
The crash occurred at 10 p.m. when Larson's northbound vehicle hit a southbound car driven by Shirlee D. Ferrin, 54, of Cassville. Both Larson and Ferrin received minor injuries in the crash and both women were transported by ambulance to Cox-Monett Hospital.
Barry County was the scene of two additional traffic crashes since Friday.

Two Monett residents were injured in a one-vehicle wreck at 10:10 p.m. Friday two miles east of Monett on Farm Road 1110.
Marika Harger, 16, the driver, and Jade Harner, 16, a passenger, both sustained minor injuries and were taken to Cox Monett Hospital.
The accident occurred when the southbound Hyundai driven by Harger went off the road and overturned.
Investigating the wreck was Trooper Barrett.
Two Cassville residents were hurt in a three-vehicle crash at 7:25 a.m. Friday a mile east of Cassville on Highway 76.
Travis Lynxwiler, 18, the driver, and Paige Lynxwiler, 15, a passenger, both sustained minor injuries and were taken to a private physician by a personal vehicle.
The wreck occurred when a westbound Jeep driven by Zachary Vititoe, 16, of Cassville, stopped to make a left turn. The westbound Chrysler driven by Travis Lynxwiler slid into the rear of the Jeep, which then crossed the centerline and struck the eastbound Dodge pickup driven by Rodney Christy head-on.
Investigating the accident was Trooper Todd Hilburn.
