Paul Fieker

Paul Ernest Fieker, 87, of Stotts City, died at 1:15 p.m. February 15 at St. John's Regional Health Center in Springfield following a long illness.

Mr. Fieker was born August 22, 1921, in Stotts City, the son of Edward H. and Martha Weltge Fieker. He was an Army veteran of World War II, a farmer, heavy equipment operator, and rural mail carrier for many years.

Survivors include two sisters, Hulda Talty and Elizabeth Brazeale, both of Springfield; one brother, Fred Fieker of Stotts City; and seven nieces and four nephews.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Evelyn and Irma Fieker; and one brother, Edwin Fieker.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, February 21, at Zion Church Cemetery southwest of Mt. Vernon under the direction of Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home of Mt. Vernon.

Visitation will follow the service in Zion Church parish hall.

Memorials may be made to the Humane Society or Missouri Children's Home.
