James B. Pass, 83, of Monett, died at 5:45 p.m. yesterday, February 23.
Mr. Pass was born June 19, 1925, in Maryville, Tennessee, the son of Ake Rufus and Annie Hill Pass. He was a retired sheet metal worker.
He married Dorothy Sue Myers on April 1, 1944, in Maryville, Tennessee, and she preceded him in death September 20, 2006.
Survivors include one daughter, Carolyn Glessner of Monett; one son, James Pass II of Monett; four grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Melton Pass; five sisters, Iva, Dovie, Edna, Lucille, and Ella; and two brothers, Ben and Cecil Pass.
Services will be 11 a.m. tomorrow, February 25, at Bennett-Wormington Chapel in Monett. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Exeter under the direction of Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home of Monett.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time tomorrow at the funeral home.
