The Monett boys wrestling team may have taken less participants to the state tournament than in previous years, but that did not stop the Cubs from getting plenty of time on the podium. Monett tied with Seneca for second place at the 2021 MSHSAA Wrestling Championships Thursday in Independence, and of the six grapplers competing, two Cubs won championships, one placed second and one placed third.
