Members of Tom Wolfe Memorial Post No. 4207 gathered at sunset on Friday at Monett’s IOOF Cemetery to hold a remembrance ceremony for prisoners of war and soldiers declared missing in action. The POW/MIA recognition was held at the gravesite of Tom Wolfe, for whom the Post is named. Wolfe’s U.S. Air Force plane was shot down in Laos in 1966 during the Vietnam War. His remains have yet to be recovered...
