Monett police are continuing to investigate a utility pole knocked down at Ninth and Cleveland on Tuesday night, where the driver involved left the scene. Police received a report at 7:21 p.m. on Tuesday that a westbound tractor trailer turning north onto Ninth Street at East Cleveland hit a light pole on the curb at the northeast corner, next to the Little Caesars parking lot. The tractor trailer left the scene. It was unclear if the driver was aware of the collision... -
Statewide winter weather drill set for Nov. 7

Even though MoDOT road crews have already been out this year battling winter weather in certain parts of the state, the department will still hold its annual winter operations drill on Nov. 7. Motorists may notice increased numbers of MoDOT vehicles on state routes during the drill. In rural areas, crews will deploy after 8 a.m. In urban areas, the drill will not begin until after 9 a.m. The exercise should be completed by 3 p.m...

Christian County offers to help LawCo 911
