Officer identified in Culhane death

Monett Police Chief George Daoud has announced the officer involved in the fatal shooting of Michael Culhane in Monett on Sept. 8 has returned to active duty. Officer Austin Royster returned to regular duty status on Friday. Royster had been injured in the confrontation at the home of Michael Culhane, 50, of Monett, when Culhane reportedly received two gunshot wounds in the chest.
