Cassville men injured in Tuesday wreck

Two Cassville men were injured Tuesday in a wreck at 6:28 a.m. on Highway 37 at Highway W in Butterfield. According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Mason Roller, 18, was driving a 2000 Dodge pickup truck eastbound and pulled into the path of a 2010 Jeep Wrangler, being driven by John Pugh, 24, of Granby. Fourth of July plans call for bigger show in Monett

Plans are nearly complete for Monett's Fourth of July festivities, including several changes from past years. All activities will take place at Monett's South Park, beginning with the Monett Lions Club's traditional barbecued chicken dinner sales at the barbecue pavilion west of the City Park Casino. Grants help boost library resources

Recent upgrades have expanded the technology capacity of branches within the Barry-Lawrence Regional Library system. J.J. Goulbourne, information technology manager for the library system, said it received two grants from the Missouri State Library.
