Monett man faces sodomy charge

A Monett man is being charged with first-degree statutory sodomy in relation to alleged incidents at his home from April 5 to May 5. Derek Shields, 23, of Monett, was arrested on the charge on Aug. 5 and met a $30,000 bond on the same day.
