Veteran walking across America receives support in Monett

Monett provided a weekend stop for Afghan war veteran Eric Peters, 23, a New Jersey man who is walking across the United States to draw attention to fellow veterans and to help homeless vets he encounters. Peters stayed at the Super 8 Motel at the expense of Tom Wolfe Memorial Post No. 4207, and the hospitality of the motel management.
