SWEPCO filed for a partial rehearing in March, aiming to reinstate Route 33, instead of Route 109, which travels through southern Missouri, and Save The Ozarks filed for a full rehearing not long after, with a goal of putting a stop to the 345 kV transmission line project entirely.. ...

Incumbent Barbara Chance and newly-elected Brittany Thomas were sworn in to office following certification of the election results from the April 8 ballot. Man, 64, pleads guilty in thefts; Monett resident accused of involvement in tractor thefts

The Monett Times A Monett man pleaded guilty Tuesday in relation to a string of tractor thefts in 2013. Howard Perryman, 64, of Monett, pleaded guilty to four counts of receiving stolen property and one count of tampering with a motor vehicle just prior to a jury being sworn in and a trial taking place on Tuesday. He will appear for sentencing at 9 a.m. June 17, and each of the counts are listed as class C felonies...
