Monett used a 3-run fourth inning to defeat the Nevada 7-3 Thursday in the Bill O'Dell Tourney in Carthage. Blake Spain scattered seven hits in six innings to earn his third win of the season. Isaac Long went 2-for-3 at the plate with a single and double. Zack Hammond, John Saunders and Spain collected the only other Cubs hits. Monett benefited from four walks and four Tigers' errors...
