Purdy High School to see new video program

A new way to get students excited about school is coming to Purdy High School. Superintendent Steven Chancellor and media coordinator Susan Funkhouser provided details at the September meeting of the Purdy School Board. "Kids like to watch videos," Chancellor said. One hurt in crash

An Exeter woman was hurt in a two-vehicle crash a half mile east of Exeter on Highway 76 on Oct. 1. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Jessica Maloney, 31, was driving east on Highway 76 in a 1997 Honda Accord. Melvin Hines, 90, of Cassville, driving west in a 2003 Dodge pickup, approached Maloney and attempted to make a left turn, driving into Maloney's path...

Ninety-seven participants gathered at the Monett Area YMCA for it's annual Midway Race, on Saturday, Sept. 28. Racers competed in a 5k, 10k and a one-mile run/walk. Trip to Prague described for Kiwanians
