Aldermen set Purdy tax levy

On Aug. 13, mem-bers of the Purdy City Council approved the 2013 tax levy at a special hearing. The tax levy was set at 0.3947, down from 0.3956 in 2012. The levy will generate approxi-mately $18,426.
