Berry Pie Contest postponed due to weather

Crash claims life of Aurora woman

community@monett-times.com An Aurora woman was killed in a one-vehicle crash at 3:55 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 8 on Highway 39 five miles south of Aurora. According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the incident occurred when the driver of a 2005 Saturn Ion, Caitlin Miedema, 21, of Aurora, was traveling southbound and ran off the right side of the roadway, struck a culvert and overturned.
