Earl "Bud" Walter Berry of Purdy, Mo., passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2013 in his home. He was born on Nov. 27, 1937 in Council Bluffs, Iowa, son of Walter and Thelma (Black) Berry. Times Photo by Melonie Roberts Approximately 107 bikers participated in the sixth annual Tour de Monett fundraiser for Multiple Sclerosis on Saturday, June 22. Riders had the option of riding a 40, 62 or 100-mile loop, starting from the Monett Area YMCA on Highway 60, south of Monett. Event organizers had several checkpoints along the routes, offering water, snacks and respite from the heat.
