The Cox Monett Hospital Auxiliary will hold its ninth annual salad luncheon from 11:30 a.m. -- 1 p.m. on Friday, May 31 at the First United Methodist Church in Monett. City keeps golf consultant another season

Golf course consultant Michael Vogt will offer services to Monett for at least one more season. The Monett City Council voted to offer Vogt a contract for another year during the May council meeting. A St. Louis-based golf course specialist, Vogt was hired in 2011 to help resolve turf problems that closed part of the course for part of two seasons.
