    The Monett Lady Cubs softball team improved to 4-0 this young season with a 3-1 victory over Republic Monday night. Monett rallied for two runs in the seventh inning spurred by clutch hitting to keep their record unblemished. "Tonight was a big win for our girls," said Monett coach Ty Goetz. "We needed a close game against a quality opponent this early in the season. I was proud of the way our girls responded after Republic tied the game late."...
