New lights at Burl Fowler Stadium (07/26/12)
Renovations and improvements on properties in the Monett R-1 School District were detailed for the R-1 Board of Education at its July meeting. Superintendent Brad Hanson said the installation team from Musco Sports Lighting worked through last weekend to mount the new lights at Burl Fowler Stadium. The old lights will be coming down this week as crews complete transferred power for the lights, pressbox and field house underground...
Entrepreneurship teacher speaks to Kiwanians (07/26/12)
Kay Osborne, who will teach the new entrepreneurship course at Drury University in Monett, described her background and educational focus at last week's meeting of the Monett Kiwanis Club.
