Purdy Renewal Project underway (07/20/12)
Members of the Purdy Renewal Project (PRP) have completed the first phase of improvements to the Purdy City Park. PRP volunteers gathered for two Saturdays at the park to plant trees, shrubs and plants. A Purdy man was injured in a single-vehicle crash that occurred at 6:12 p.m. on July 18 on Interstate 44 about two miles west of Sarcoxie.
