The Aurora Police Department, Combined Ozarks Multi-jurisdictional Drug Task Force Enforcement Team (COMET) and the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office served a search warrant on Tuesday, May 22, at an Aurora convenience store. One fatality in weekend crashes (06/04/12)
A Mt. Vernon woman was killed in a crash that occurred at 10:05 p.m. on June 2. According the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred on Route K, seven miles north of Aurora, when the 1996 Chevrolet half-ton pickup, driven by Cleo Ruiz-Cruz, 23, of Verona, failed to negotiate a curve, ran off the roadway and struck a tree. ...
