Sheriff's Office Conducting Investigation into the Death of and In-Custody Inmate (04/06/12)
The Lawrence County Sheriff's Office is reporting the death of an in-custody inmate at the Lawrence County Jail. At approximately 1400 hrs. while in the process of assigning an inmate to a cell, an on duty jailer discovered an inmate not breathing. Medical personnel were called to the scene but the inmate was already deceased...
