The Missouri Child Identification and Protection Program (MOCHIP) was hosted by the Monett Masonic Lodge #129 AF&AM on Saturday, Feb. 11. Four hurt in crash on Hwy. 60 (02/20/12)
A three-vehicle crash on Highway 60 near Verona on Saturday night left six Cassville residents injured. B-L Ambulance board approves pay raises (02/20/12)
The Barry-Lawrence Ambulance District Board of Directors approved a 50-cent-per-hour wage increase for all hourly employees at the January board meeting. Purdy council listens to sanitation proposal (02/20/12)
Purdy aldermen heard a presentation from Jim Doty, of Doty Sanitation in Aurora, at their February meeting. Doty was invited to the council meeting to discuss the city's sanitation needs. He proposed providing numbered polycarbon trash containers to each city resident for trash service. Doty said the 95-gallon containers are sturdy enough to prevent animals from dumping and spreading trash, which has previously been a subject of complaint for some Purdy residents...
