Monett Council approves land annexation (12/22/11)
The Monett City Council approved the annexation of 20 acres of agricultural land into the city limits during the December council meeting on Tuesday. Ron Pruitt was tapped by the council to serve on the Building Board until April 1, 2015. Pruitt, who works at Meeks Lumber, agreed to serve when asked by assistant building inspector Jeff Brattin. PHS basketball earns two wins (12/22/11)
The Purdy Eagles and Lady Eagles picked up hardfought victories on Tuesday night. The Eagles downed Crane 54-53 to improve to 5-3 on the young season.
