A Cassville woman was hurt in a one-vehicle crash at 7:38 p.m. on Sunday two miles east of Wheaton. According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Tessa Craig, 20, was driving west in a 1997 GMC Yukon on Highway 76 when the vehicle ran off the left side of the road and struck the embankment. Local economy shows upswing in August sales tax receipts

Monett's two sales taxes for the general fund brought in $120,497.51 in August, a new record that is $7,011.20 higher than a year ago.
