Two Verona industries are interested in sending more wastewater to the city's treatment plant and expressed an interest in helping finance an upgrade to the plant to accommodate the increased flow. Thirty new teachers and two new administrators in the Monett R-1 School District received an official welcome to town by the Monett Chamber of Commerce during a special luncheon on Tuesday at St. John's Lutheran Church.
