Center serves young victims (04/14/11)
The Monett office of the Children's Center of the Ozarks has seen fluctuations in the number of children receiving service for abuse. The Children's Center provides a single location where young victims of abuse can meet with advocates, undergo medical exams and tell what happened. A recording of the interview is distributed to different law enforcement agencies and prosecutors, relieving victims from the trauma of repeatedly reliving the experience...
