Concern voiced over liquor law (02/18/11)
Monett City Council members heard concern voiced over plans to revise the city's ordinance on liquor licenses at the February monthly meeting held last night at Monett City Hall. The proposal calls for changing the city's stricter standard for licensing to match the state standard. The city council would have final say on the issuance of all licenses. New rules for vital records (02/18/11)
Missouri has adopted new requirements for those obtaining birth, death, marriage and divorce records in an effort to guard against identity theft. Thornton gets key to the city (02/18/11)
The Monett City Council honored Linn Thornton for his years of service to the community during the February city council meeting.
