Ice accumulates on roof and collapses Verona classroom (02/08/11)
Early Saturday morning the business classroom at the Verona High School was destroyed by a blanket of ice that slid from the gymnasium roof and collapsed the room. "A clock was found in the rubble," Bill Sweet, district superintendent, said. "It stopped at 12:40 a.m. on Saturday, and I was called at 1:15 a.m. so I think that is when the collapse happened."...
